Programs & Partnership Lead

Lydia is a Program & Partnership Lead at Yunus Environment Hub. She is responsible for coordinating the SHE Stars – See Her Empowered Program in Kenya.

Prior to joining YEH, she worked at KCIC as a Senior Business Analyst where she was responsible for providing support to small and medium enterprises as they pursue to grow their businesses, create an impact in the society, and venture into new markets in Africa and abroad. Her expertise includes business gap analysis, business systems refinement, value chain analysis, investment memorandum, and project management. In addition, she supported KCIC in the coordination of special programes suited and beneficial to the entrepreneurial society for example, the ClimateLaunchpad, What Design Can Do projects in Kenya.

Lydia is currently enrolled in the University of South Wales for her Master’s in Business Administration, holds a BA in Economics and Sociology from Kenyatta University, and is a Certified Financial and Investment Analyst. She is passionate about social entrepreneurship and its role in economic development. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking.
