Michelle is a Communication Consultant for Yunus Environment Hub, helping share YEH’s stories, missions, and projects with the world through digital channels. As a marketing and media specialist, Michelle is a touchpoint for YEH team members, project leads, and partners — and is passionate about both sharing YEH’s work, and helping others learn about circularity and sustainability.

 

Michelle started her career working in live TV news as a producer, both in New York and Oregon. After 5 years, Michelle left the United States to work & travel remotely, living as a digital nomad in several different countries while working as a freelancer. During this time, Michelle’s career broadened into copywriting, video production, social media creation, and marketing. Her experience spans various sectors and fields, from NGOs to enterprise B2B organzations, from news to social media. 

 

Michelle is a dedicated storyteller, advant writer, and constant creator. She is motivated by the fact that communication is what helps us all understand one another better, and which can lead to true change. In her free time, she enjoys taking sports classes at the beach, practicing nightlife photography/videography, and hosting dinners and hangouts at home with her partner and friends.
