Venture Building Advisor

Leonhard Nima’s expertise builds on more than 10 years of social innovation and social business work experience in more than 20 countries. He has incubated, grown, advised and consulted social businesses around the globe working in various fields, including plastic waste, circular economy, fair fashion, sustainable mobility and many more.

As Venture Building Advisor to the Yunus Environment Hub, he supports the team in the design and implementation of social business solutions such as the Zero Plastic Waste Cities program, blending a great mix of knowledge and skills in design thinking, human-centered design, entrepreneurship, venture building, workshop and process facilitation.

Leonhard also wears other hats. 

As the Founder of Studio Nima he implements and promotes social innovations with a range of players from the private, the philanthropic, the academic and the public sector. He is also the Co-Founder of N3XTCODER with a focus on tech4good solutions that create social impact.

He serves as Education Advisor to the Yunus Sports Hub, an organization founded by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus.

Leonhard works as a moderator at international conferences, such as the Global Social Business Summit, the rad°hub, the Social Innovation Summit and many more. He has been on stage with and interviewed Heads of States, UN leadership, leading business executives, philosophers, artists, and more exceptional personalities. 

Previously, he was an Adjunct Professor at the Master of Social Entrepreneurship at Hult International Business School in San Francisco and London. He held guest lectures at the University of Mannheim, Germany and the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, Italy.

Leonhard worked as Head of Academia at The Grameen Creative Lab founded by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. Previously, he worked for the management consulting company Accenture and as a financial analyst for the international communication agency Avantgarde. He received his Diploma in Business and Economics from the Ruhr University of Bochum in Germany.
