Konstantin Münchau

Program Manager

As Program Manager at Yunus Environment Hub, Konstantin contributes his academic background from two highly acknowledged German universities as well as his professional experience in the social business sector. After graduating with distinction from Leuphana University Lueneburg with a B.Sc. in Business Psychology, Konstantin joined The Grameen Creative Lab in early 2019 and has been part of the global social business community and the Yunus network ever since.

Working as research analyst at Yunus Environment Hub since its spin-off, he developed social business solutions to municipal solid waste management in South-East Asia and East Africa and has conducted feasibility studies and business plans in several projects. He has also contributed to several publications of Yunus Environment Hub on topics such as the remuneration of informal waste workers, the global plastic credits market or the impact of social businesses for the circular economy. After graduating from University of Mannheim with a M.A. in Philosophy and Management in October 2021, Konstantin is working as program manager on topics of social business, social innovation and public policy advisory.

Prior to his work at Yunus Environment Hub, Konstantin has gained working experience in several consulting firms and has published peer-reviewed research on the psychological effects of cash transfers in development cooperation. He is passionate about literature and is always thankful for a good book recommendation. He is also passionate about martial arts and football and finds himself amazed by the power of sports in connecting people from all over the world.
